Ms. Dolly

With Dolly Parton set to embark on her first major tour in 25 years, ACS pay homage to the legendary Tennessee bombshell

The industry met Dolly some fifty years ago. Since then she has gone from fun-loving country starlet to global icon of music and film whose devotees unfailingly fill a theme park made in her honour. Dolly Parton is adored, acclaimed, and larger than life.

Contemporizing country music with a proud, affirmative stance on gay rights, she’s a razor sharp businessperson, an influential philanthropist and a patron saint of drag queens. Her iconic look both embraces and mocks the best and worst of high country glamour.

Here, we present ACS’s most loved style-Dollyisms in all of their fringe-laden, rhinestone-resplendent glory.
